Alternate Rules for Game Play
To shorten the length of playing time, we offer two alternative short games. Each offers different dynamics to the play of the game and are equally as fun as the original!!
Alternative Game Play - One:
- Once Life Paths have been chosen, the Banker shuffles each of the goal card decks and distributes 5 goal cards to each respective Life Path recipient.
- For example: the individual that has chosen the Diver Life Path will receive 5 Diver goal cards, the person that has chosen the Beach Bum Life Path will receive 5 Beach Bum goal cards and so on until each player has 5 goal cards.
- All other instructions for regular game play are followed as written.
- Game play will be shortened to between 60- 90 minutes.
Alternative Game Play - Two:
- Set a time limit.
- All other instructions for regular game play are followed as written.
- When time is up, the person with the most goal cards for their chosen Life Path wins.
- If there is a tie in the number of goal cards between 2 or more players, the player with the most money will be the winner.
